Presentation
Pain and swelling in the left knee since 1 year.
Patient Data
Age: 11 years
Gender: Male
From the case:
Osteosarcoma - distal femur

Ill-defined mixed lytic sclerotic lesion is seen involving the meta-diaphyseal region of the distal end of femur with areas of cortical destruction, wide zone of transition, marrow infiltration, extensive sunburst pattern of periosteal reaction and adjacent soft tissue component predominantly along the medial aspect.

Large heterogeneous soft tissue is seen surrounding the distal meta-diaphyseal region of the femur with cortical irregularity, marrow infiltration and spiculated sunburst pattern of periosteal reaction.
Case Discussion
Age, site of lesion and imaging features are consistent with conventional high-grade osteosarcoma.
