Ovarian dermoid cyst

A 100 x 84 mm heterodense mass with fatty, calcified and cystic components is noted at the left adnexa. There is no enhancing component.
Case Discussion
Features are consistent with a left ovarian dermoid cyst.
CT has high sensitivity in the diagnosis of cystic teratomas though it is not routinely recommended for this purpose owing to its ionizing radiation. Ultrasound is the preferred imaging modality.
