Well-defined left ovarian cystic mass of complex signal intensity. The main component is of low signal on T1, high signal on T2 with no enhancement (fluid component). The fatty component is mainly of peripheral location of high signal, attenuated on fat-suppressed sequences.
Pelvic varices are noted.
Case Discussion
MRI features of an ovarian mass of complex signal with attenuation of the fatty component on fat-suppressed sequences, most consistent with dermoid cyst.
