Ovarian dermoid cyst with ipsilaleral unilocular cyst

Presentation

Right pelvic pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Well-defined right ovarian mass of complex signal intensity. The main component is of fatty signal attenuated on fat-suppressed sequences with a chemical shift artifact on T2 and no enhancement seen on the postcontrast sequences. There is a large ipsilateral thin-walled unilocular cyst of homogeneous fluid content of low signal on T1, high signal on T2 with no restricted diffusion or peripheral enhancement.

Left ovarian follicles (largest measures 20 mm). Normal appearance of the uterus.
