Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Abdominopelvic pain and progressive distention.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

The hepatic attenuation value is less than of the spleen, suggesting fatty liver disease. 
A little free fluid is present at right subhepatic space.

Huge cystic mass with large enhancing solid component is noted at right adnexa measuring 170 × 160 × 155 mm. 

Mild degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the thoracolumbar spine.

Case Discussion

Huge adnexal cystic solid mass (pathology proven ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma) which is a rare malignant ovarian mucinous tumor. This type can account for 5-10% of all ovarian mucinous tumors. It is a type of ovarian epithelial tumor.
