Presentation

Admitted with a hypogastric mass with abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

The CT scan shows a multilocular cystic mass that has a thin regular wall and that contains liquid of different attenuation.

Mucinous cystadenoma of the ovary is a type of epithelial ovarian tumor. They comprise approximately 80% of mucinous ovarian tumors and 20-25% of all benign ovarian tumors
