The right ovary is edematous enlarged hypoechoic with areas of hyperechoic central stoma, and peripheral displacement of the follicles. No venous or arterial flow seen within the ovary on color Doppler. Note mild free fluid seen around the ovary on the transverse section.
The left ovary appears normal in size and echotexture with small follicles.
