Pachymeningeal and skull metastases from breast carcinoma

Presentation

Known for breast carcinoma with hepatic metastases on follow-up. Presented with a history of headaches and vertigo.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Bilateral and extensive dural thickening with enhancement over the cerebral hemispheres in keeping with dural metastases.

Multiple enhancing lesions of the cranial vault and the ramus of the right mandible in keeping with metastases.

No intra-axial cerebellar or cerebral metastasis is seen.

Opacification of the mastoid air cells more marked on the right
