50 years old female was referred for evaluation of chronic headaches.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Female

Case Discussion

Her MR images showed diffuse dural based hypointense mass involving falx cerebri, sphenoid wing meninges. The mass showed dense homogenous enhancement with multiple dural tails. Most probably the etiology in our case is sarcoidosis as we have ruled out the other possibilities like intracranial hypotension, dural fibrosis, metastasis, meningioma, etc.

For a differential please refer to hypertrophic pachymeningitis.
