Paget disease

Patient complains of chronic right low back pain. Polypectomy 17 years ago due to colon cancer (T1N0M0).

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

Asymmetric bony enlargement and coarsened trabeculation of right hemipelvis.

Cortical thickening and sclerosis of the iliopectineal and ischiopubic lines.

Nuclear medicine

Bone scan demonstrates intense uptake involving right the hemipelvis.


Heterogeneously enhancing mass in the upper pole of the left kidney.

Bony enlargement and coarse trabeculation in the right hemipelvis are seen on CT.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent laparascopic resection of left kidney. Final dignosis RCC T1aN0M0.

Findings in right hemipelvis has typical appearences of Paget disease.
