Case Discussion

Paget-Schrötter syndrome, also called effort-induced thrombosis, designates axillary-subclavian vein thrombosis in otherwise healthy individuals. The etiology is multifactorial, but extrinsic compression of the subclavian vein between the clavicle and the first rib seems to play a decisive role1.
