Pagets disease of the pelvis

Fall. Fractured hip?

Patient Data

Age: 70
Gender: Male

Thickening, sclerosis and increased trabeculation of the whole of the left hemi-pelvis, including the iliopectineal and ischiopubic lines.

The right hemi-pelvis is normal in appearance.


Case Discussion

The pelvis is one of the typical locations for Paget's disease of the bone.  It is classically unilateral.
