Smoker. Weight loss.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years old
x-ray

3cm right apical lung mass. 

Heart size normal. Left lung clear.

Normal mediastinal contours.

Case Discussion

A lung tumor at the lung apex (superior sulcus) consistent with a Pancoast tumor.

The apex is one of the review areas in chest x-ray assessment.
