Presentation
Abdominal pain with a palpable mass on physical exam.
Patient Data

A 70 × 60 mm low-enhancing mass is noted in porta hepatis that infiltrates the adjacent duodenum and encases the portal vein and hepatic artery. The mass seems to originate exophytically from the pancreatic head. In addition, the distal portion of CBD is infiltrated by the mass with secondary dilatation of the central intrahepatic bile ducts.
Several enlarged lymph nodes with a maximum short-axis diameter of 2.0 cm are seen in the vicinity of the mass.
Case Discussion
Exophytic pancreatic head mass, pathology-proven adenocarcinoma, with vascular encasement and regional lymphadenopathy.
