Presentation

Work up for abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
ct

A 50×30 mm low enhancing mass is noted at the pancreatic tail that partially encases the splenic artery, accompanied by mild surrounding fat stranding and a few regional enlarged lymph nodes.

Several subcentimeter simple cortical cysts are seen in kidneys.

The prostate gland is markedly enlarged.

Right inguinal hernia is present, containing a part of the urinary bladder.

Case Discussion

Pancreatic mass; pathology proved adenocarcinoma with partial vascular encasement and a few regional enlarged lymph nodes.
