Pancreatic adenocarcinoma - carcinomatosis, small bowel obstruction
Presentation
Abdominal discomfort.
Patient Data
Large infiltrative relatively hypoenhancing mass involving the pancreas body and tail, with encasement and likely some degree of narrowing of the splenic artery, narrowing and encasement of the splenic vein. No liver lesions or biliary obstruction. Numerous small omental nodules indicating carcinomatosis partial small bowel obstruction with fecalization within the mid ileum without a clear cause but with a transition point close to the areas of peritoneal disease, raising possibility of malignant cause of obstruction.
