Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
ct

Moderate abdominal free fluid is present.
A 42×29 mm low enhancing mass is also noted at pancreatic body and tail encases distal celiac artery trunk and proximal of its branches. Several lymphadenopathies are noted in the vicinity of diseased segment with SAD less than 11 mm.

In addition, focal increased wall thickness is noted at gastric cardia and sub cardia. 

Case Discussion

Pathology proven pancreatic adenocarcinoma with vascular encasement, regional lymphadenopathies and ascites.
