Pancreatic cancer - uncinate process

Presentation

Jaundice.

Patient Data

Age: Adult

A relatively small mass is located in the uncinate process of the pancreas with a preserved fat plane around the superior mesenteric artery and veins. Both the biliary tree and pancreatic duct are dilated. A prominent celiac node is also present. Incidental splenunculi.

Case Discussion

Pancreatic head cancer without convincing vascular invasion / involvement, amenable to resection.
