Presentation

Epigastric pain, skin discoloration, itching and weight loss.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Diffuse intrahepatic biliary duct dilatation. Markedly dilated CBD.

Marked diffuse dilatation of intrahepatic biliary ducts. The CBD and pancreatic ducts are dilated down to the level of an obstructing irregular pancreatic head mass giving rise to the double duct sign.

Hiatus hernia is incidentally noted.

Case Discussion

Pancreatic head mass with obstructive jaundice. It was proved histologically to be an adenocarcinoma.
