Presentation

Abdominal pain and mass feeling.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

169×161×114mm multilocular cystic mass in the pancreatic body and tail. Several air bubbles are seen within the lesion most likely due to enteric fistulous formation.
Splenomegaly is also present. 

Case Discussion

Large pancreatic cystic mass; pathology proven pancreatic mucinous cystadenocarcinoma, which is a type of pancreatic mucinous tumor. It is considered the more malignant counterpart of a mucinous cystadenoma of the pancreas.
