Pancreatic mucinous cystadenoma

Info

A 52×51×48mm thick walled cystic lesion is present at pancreatic body and tail. Thin septation is present within the cyst. No soft tissue component or calcification are noted. Distal pancreas shows atrophic changes and distal pancreatic duct is mildly dilated. No fat stranding or enlarged lymphnode is evident in the vicinity of the cystic lesion.
Case Discussion
Pathology proven pancreatic mucinous cystadenoma, which largely (~80%) occur in the body or tail of the pancreas, and less commonly in the head of the pancreas (~20%).
