Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour

A hypervascular 3 cm mass within the body of the pancreas.

Case Discussion

Histopathology results: Best regarded as a well differentiated pancreatic endocrine carcinoma. Positive for MNF 116, chromogranin, synaptophysin and CD 56. The tumour is negative for insulin, glucagon, VIP, gastrin, S100, somatostatin and pancreatic polypeptide.
