Solid hypoechoic lesion located medially in the right lobe of the thyroid with no thin "halo" lucent to differentiate it from the surrounding parenchyma. The lesion contains multiple microcalcifications with moderate blood flow on Doppler.
Case Discussion
This is a high suspicion thyroid nodule that requires FNA.
