Case Discussion

Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common type of thyroid cancer, It arises from the follicular cells of the thyroid gland and is characterized by its papillary (finger-like) growth pattern under the microscope.

The radiological features and positive family history highly suggest papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) which was confirmed by histopathology with total thyroidectomy.
