- Naso-gastric tube is seen in situ with para-esophageal hernia.
Case Discussion
There are two types of hiatus hernia (sliding hernia and para-esophageal hernia). The sliding type is much more common, accounting for 90% of hiatus hernias.The gastro-esophageal junction is seen above the diaphragm in sliding hernia and below diaphragm in para-esophageal hernia.
