Paratracheal air cyst

Right sided, loculated paratracheal air cyst (~2x1.1x2.7cm) at the level of thoracic inlet. No connection seen with the trachea.
Focal area of ground glass opacity in apicoposterior segment of right upper lobe, consistent with COVID-19.
Case Discussion
Paratracheal air cysts are frequently seen on routine HRCT thorax scans and almost all arise from the right posterolateral trachea in this region. They should not be confused with pneumomediastinum.
