Parenchymal asymmetry right breast

Case contributed by Dr Garth Kruger
Mammography

An asymmetrical density with a  low level centre picked up by an observant reader. No previous for comparison.

Ultrasound

This solid lesion has all the hallmarks of a malignant lesion.

Case Discussion

Even if you don't have previous, you can train your eye to compare with the other breast. The differential diagnosis should include a radial scar.
