Presentation
A 2-year-old patient presented to the emergency department following a fall from a height of approximately 10 feet.
Patient Data



Fracture of left parietal bone extending into the medial left coronal suture and into the right coronal suture.
Acute extra-axial haemorrhage in left frontal and parietal regions.
Associated scalp haematoma.
Case Discussion
Paediatric head injuries are a common cause of emergency department visits and hospital admissions. These injuries can range from minor to severe and can have significant long-term effects on a child's development.
Imaging plays a critical role in the evaluation and management of paediatric head injuries.
