Park grading system for cervical foraminal stenosis

  • grade 0: absence of foraminal stenosis

  • grade 1: mild foraminal stenosis showing partial (<50% of root circumference) perineural fat obliteration and there is no morphological change in the nerve root

  • grade 2: moderate (>50% of root circumference) foraminal stenosis showing near complete perineural fat obliteration and there is no morphological change in the nerve root

  • grade 3: severe foraminal stenosis with morphological changes or nerve root collapse
