Parotid duct stone

Recurrent swelling of left parotid gland after meal.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Male

2.5mm stone in the left parotid duct (aka. Stensen duct).

No sign of swelling nor inflammatory changes of the gland itself.

Case Discussion

Sialolithiasis is most commonly found in submandibular salivary glands.
