Dilated main parotid duct with internal stone measuring about 0.25 cm causing posterior acoustic shadowing.
No signs of acute sialadenitis.
Case Discussion
Sialolithiasis is the most common disease affecting the salivary glands. The submandibular gland is more commonly affected (80-90% ) and the parotid duct is less commonly affected (10-20%).
