Coronal T1

There is a 2.1 x 2.7 cm measuring mass in the left parotid gland. Hypointense in T1, hyperintense in T2. Homogeneously strong and early contrast enhancement is demonstrated. No infiltration of the surrounding structures. No pathologically enlarged lymph nodes.
This finding is compatible with an infantile hemangioma.
Case Discussion
Infantile hemangiomas are benign vascular neoplasms that are the most common head and neck tumors of infancy.
