Bilateral L5 pars defects present, with associated grade 1 anterolisthesis of L5 on S1 and stenosis of the left neural exit foramen. The pars defects are particularly well displayed on the T1 spair and T1 spair inverted acquisitions.
There is also a right paracentral disc extrusion at L1/2 which results in mild spinal canal and subarticular recess stenosis.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates a typical bilateral L5 pars defect, highlighting improved visualization on the T1 spair sequences.
