Partial small bowel loops obstruction

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Abdominal pain and progressive distension; history of abdominal blunt trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Small bowel loops are dilated and contrast-filled and there is transitional zone at distal ileal loops without obvious mass or frank wall thickening. The contrast media passes to the distal loops as well as colon. No free peritoneal air is observed.
