Lateral elbow pain

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Thickening of the common extensor origin at the site of its attachment to the lateral epicondyle of humerus. It shows bright signal with partial disruption of its fibers denoting partial tear with small fluid filled gap (4mm) best appreciated on coronal T2WI. This is associated with minimal edema of lateral epicondyle.
