Presentation

Poor urinary stream. Long-standing urinary bladder outlet obstruction due to prostate enlargement.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

With contrast injection through a foley catheter, the small urinary bladder is visualized, and there is evidence of passive grade 4 vesicoureteral reflux on the right side.

In addition, advanced degenerative changes along with rotoscoliosis can be seen in the lumbar spine.

Case Discussion

Unilateral passive grade 4 vesicoureteral reflux in a patient with poor urinary stream and chronic urinary bladder outlet obstruction.
