Presented with dislocated patella.

Patient Data

Age: 35
Gender: Female
x-ray

On the frontal projection the patella is dislocated laterally, with significant deformity of the overlying skin. On the lateral projection the patella is slightly low lying. No associated fracture is demonstrated.

Post reduction

x-ray

Post reduction images show normal patella position. A small joint effusion is now evident.
