Fall onto the left knee. Edematous and painful knee.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Left Knee radiographs

x-ray

There is a transverse fracture through the mid patella with separation/retraction of the fragments. Signs of local soft tissue edema and joint effusion. The reminder bone structures are preserved.
