Patellar fracture - non-displaced (MRI)

Left knee trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 15
Gender: Male

Non displaced vertical fracture and bone marrow edema are seen at the medial part of the patella.

Bone marrow edema at the medial femoral condyle and joint effusion are the other findings.

Case Discussion

Non-displaced patellar fractures must be differentated from a bipartite or multipartite patella.
