Presentation

Sudden pain in the leg without trauma in a patient with known lung cancer.

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Male

Undisplaced fracture of the right femoral shaft through an intramedullary osteolytic lesion.

Chest x-ray shows a mass in the left upper field with ipsilateral hilar and mediastinal shadows suggesting lymphadenopathy.
