Displaced fracture of the humeral diaphysis. The fracture is through a lucent intramedullary lesion with a wide zone of transition.
No other bone lesions in the visualised skeletons.
Case Discussion
Pathological fractures typically occur with minimal trauma. In this case, a striking aggressive bone lesion lies in the bone at the fracture site.
Following surgical fixation, the patient was diagnosed with metastatic renal cell carcinoma.
