Chest x-ray

Moderate pectus excavatum. Note the inferiorly oriented ribs and slight leftward shift of the heart. 


Post op X-ray

Nuss bar in situ.

Case Discussion

Usually for cosmetic reasons, a pectus excavatum deformity can be corrected with a Nuss bar.
