Presentation
Metrorrhagia.
Patient Data
There is a well-circumscribed pedunculated subserosal mass (4.5 x 4 x 2.5 cm) arising from the uterine fundus, of iso-to low signal to the myometrium on T1, low signal on T2 with heterogeneous contrast enhancement in keeping with a pedunculated subserosal leiomyoma. There are also other small subserosal leiomyomas arising from the posterior uterine wall, the largest measures (1.6 x 1.4 x 1.2 cm) as well as small intramural leiomyoma (10 mm), well-visualized on T2 sequences.
Small bilateral ovarian follicles are noted.
Case Discussion
MRI appearances of pedunculated subserosal leiomyomas as well as small intramural leiomyoma.
