Linear ossification along the margin of the medial femoral condyle
Case Discussion
The Pellegrini-Stieda lesion is a form of myositis ossificans or soft tissue ossification that may occur a few weeks following an avulsion of the origin of the medial collateral ligament. It is usually seen in younger patients and may resolve with time.
