Left-sided colostomy is noted and right-sided ileal conduit with left ureteric stent extending through the ileal conduit into the stomal bag.
Case Discussion
Pelvic exenteration is a radical surgery performed in an attempt to cure patients with locally advanced central pelvic malignancies. It includes evisceration of bladder, urethra,rectum, anus, and in females vagina and uterus sometimes partial sacralectomy also needs to be done. Exenteration is considered only after other initial therapies such as chemoradiation.
