Pelvic stone in an ectopic kidney

A 30 Y/O male with recurrent LLQ abdominal pain and urine burning

Patient Data

Age: 30 y
Gender: Male

Normal RT ureteric  jet(RT image) pelvic stone (LT image)

Thickness of the left  pelvis wall 3mm

 Stone S  33x14 mm  in the left pelvis kidney 


Left ectopic kidney  with PUJ stenosis

The operation was  achieved by a urinary surgeon , Ahmad Archoukia ,MD, Facharzt Germany.

Case Discussion

Plain film IVP demonstrates ectopic kidney with  a calcific density in the pelvis , which is shown to be in the  renal pelvis when contrast is administered. 

The stone was extracted surgically.
