Presentation

Progressive abdominal distension from birth.

Patient Data

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

Severe bilateral hydronephrosis with ballooning of the renal pelvis and abrupt rounding off at the pelviureteric junction. The ureters are collapsed.

Case Discussion

MR urogram features are consistent with bilateral pelviureteric junction obstruction, most likely congenital.
