Presentation

Lumbar ache. X-ray of the lumbar spine demonstrated left-sided calcification. Renal?

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Non-contrast CT demonstrates a pelviureteric junction obstruction (PUJ) (aka UPJ obstruction) on the left with a large calculus within the dilated renal pelvis.
