Presentation
Presenting after penetrating injury to the face.
Patient Data
Penetrating injury to the medial right orbit, just missing the medial rectus and globe, and entering the anterior ethmoid air cells (possibly injuring the top of the lacrimal duct and likely the superior maxillary sinus wall given the blood within the sinus), superior nasal turbinate, traversing the nasal septum, and terminating in the lateral left nasopharyngeal soft tissues below the torus tubarius and pterygoid plates.
Case Discussion
Uncommon penetrating injury of the face due to arrow injury, with fractured arrow remaining. MIP images help to see the entire foreign body.
