Penile urethral calculus

Presentation

Presents with urinary retention for a few hours.

Patient Data

Age: about 45 yrs
Gender: Male
ultrasound

There was retention of urine. Post void volume was about 590 ml.

Prostate volume is normal. No calculus noted in kidney, ureters, or bladder.

No calculus could be seen in posterior urethra.

At last a calculus (6 - 7 mm) was seen at urethral meatus. No wall thickening or irregularity is noted in the visualized anterior urethra.
